Ray Allen and his Sprained Ankle

Ray Allen still has a sore right ankle.  He sprained it in March and sat for six games.  Within 5 games of Allen's ankle flared up again.  Obviously, the ankle was not fully healed and he played too soon.  The pressure to return quickly in the NBA is immense.  And the level of athletic fitness in the NBA is the highest in the world, so it is no surprise that his ankle didn't hold up.

That is why we specifically advise that a person with a sprained ankle waist until their ankle is fully healed before participating in sports again.  Getting back too quickly means you will be at a much higher risk of re-injury.  So, we always suggest waiting until the ankle is fully healed.

Fortunately, when you use H.E.M., your ankle will heal much faster and better than other conventional treatments.  So, it's not a matter of waiting months, but certainly a week or two is not too much to ask to make sure your ankle is ready for the next physically challenge on your agenda.

Just be a little patient, so that your ankle is ready, which will end up saving you a lot more time assuming you avoid future injuries to the ankle.  And don't forget, a strong, mobile ankle also protects the knees, which is obviously a very serious injury.

So, get to healing your ankle with H.E.M. and wait until your ankle is fully healed!

Kelly Clarkson gets a Sprained Ankle

You would have to look close, but it's a fact that Kelly Clarkson sprained her ankle only moments before taking the stage for the taping of the VAS Celebrates Soul last night on VH1.  We have to give her props for putting on high heels and going on stage and performing.  It must have been very painful!
Here is Kelly in her own words:
Funny part of the evening is I twisted my ankle in a pair of heels right before the show started in a freakin' pot hole on the street!. Hurt like hell but still one of my favorite shows I’ve ever been a part of!”
Kelly, we hope you won't just follow R.I.C.E. (rest, ice, compression, elevation) and will give H.E.M. a try, so you can heal up the right way.  We know you don't want to have ankle pain the next time you perform!  We wish you the best!
